Hello! My name is Amanda Turner. I was born and raised in Shelbyville, KY until I went away to college at Western Kentucky University in 2003. At Western I earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. This will be be my third year teaching and I am excited to meet all my new students and have a wonderful year together full of learning!
I love to read and it is one of my favorite pass times. I also love polka dots and sweet tea.
I am currently still in school working on my Master's degree in Literacy. I have two classes left so I plan to graduate in May. 
I just bought my first house this summer so I have been very busy moving, unpacking and painting. I haven't had much of a break!
